How to connect your TikTok account

For TikTok, the API only allows you to send videos to the TikTok app on your phone, and then from there, you can publish your video.

We recommend you use Desktop for this setup - it's just easier. Once it's setup on Desktop, it should work on mobile as well. The process on Mobile will be very similar, except it will on a much smaller screen ;)

1. Make sure you are logged into your TikTok account first.
2. Then log into your Splasheo account at www.splasheo.com (top right).

3. Go to the Connected apps page inside your account.

   
   

   

4. Click on the “Connect” button next to TikTok.

   
   

   

5. On the TikTok popup on the next page, click on the "Authorise" button to connect your TikTok account.

   
   

   

6. You'll get redirected to the Connected apps page on Splasheo, and the button next to TikTok should now be green and say "Connected".

   
   

   

7. You can then go back to the Dashboard, select the video you want to publish to TikTok, and go through the process.

   
   

   

That's it!

Your TikTok account should now stay connected so that you can seamlessly publish your Splasheo produced videos straight to your TikTok app on your phone.

Once it's on your phone, look for the message from TikTok in your inbox to go through the final steps to publish your video.

From time to time, your accounts might get disconnected again. Whenever that happens, just go through the above process again to connect your account.
